On July 20, UFRJ Science Park welcomed a committee of representatives of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of China as well as representatives of Chinese science parks. On August 1, Coppe/UFRJ Business Incubator, a member of the innovative environment of the Science Park, welcomed a group of entrepreneurs from South Korea. This is part of a program of softlanding by Anprotec (Brazilian Association of Science Parks and Business Incubators) together with Samsung, in which the Incubator and the Science Park participate. The pilot experience aims at promoting the interaction of foreign startups in the local business environment.
