The UFRJ Science Park promoted, from December 6 through 8, from 11 am until 8 pm, the third edition of the Cultural and Gastronomic Fair. The event consisted of a series of attractions, including food trucks, projects developed by the gastronomy course on “Brazilian cuisine”, lectures, cultural actions and happy hour with music and handmade beverages. During the event, there was also a donation campaign of toys, clothes and household appliances for residents of Vila Residential, located next to the Park. After floods caused by the heavy rains over the recent months, the residents had their houses damaged and lost many personal belongings. The Cultural and Gastronomic Fair was carried out by a partnership with the INJC/UFRJ Gastronomy Course, Cibus Junior Enterprise, the University Town Hall and the HUB UFRJ space. During the event, there was also the 1st UFRJ Gastronomy Students’ Meeting, focusing on the topic: “The Brazilian Cuisine and the 5 years of the UFRJ Gastronomy Course”.
