On November 10, the Park welcomed representatives of the Center for Nondestructive Analysis (CAND). They were introduced to the Park’s infrastructure as well as to some projects that are relevant to the country. CAND is a private nonprofit organization located at PUC-Rio (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro).
Minerva Bots, a robotics team sponsored by the Park in competitions, was interviewed by INOVA Parque UFRJ, the Park’s YouTube channel. Click here to watch the video.
On November 30, UFRJ Science Park, Coppe and the Columbia University gave a presentation on the Coppe Columbia Center, an innovation hub created a year ago through a partnership between the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Columbia University.
UFRJ Science Park welcomed two visitors on November 24: Professor Henry Etzkowitz, from the International Triple Helix Institute, and Professor Mariza Almeida, from UNIRIO. The Park’s CEO, José Carlos Pinto, met the two visitors.
